Obituary for Clay Frable

Clay Nathan Frable, age 19, was born October 5th, 2000 to Kanesha and Tommy Frable. He left this world on September 28th, 2020, just days shy of his 20th birthday.

To many, Clay came across as a quiet, reserved, and pensive young man but all it would take was looking into his eyes to know that there was magic working in that mind. The gears were constantly turning, eager to learn more about the world. This lead to great love of many things.

Music, most of all, kept his mind buzzing with ideas. Whether it was creating his own or discovering underground artists, his passion was evident in everything he did. Like most things he was interested in, he dedicated himself to his art.

Not only did Clay have an incredible mind, he also had an incredible heart. To know Clay, was to love Clay. He was a compassionate soul, loyal to a fault. Animals loved him as much as he loved them and he leaves behind his best fur friend, Rusty.

His short journey through life would allow him to touch the hearts in many different parts of the country, namely Las Vegas where he was born, Ottumwa, IA where he went to middle school and Eddyville, IA where he spent his final days.

He is survived by his father, Tommy Frable (Rachell Kirk) of Eddyville, mother, Kanesha Frable (Chris Fredrickson) of Las Vegas, siblings, Damien (Sam) Frable, Devyn (Blue) Frable, Ashley Fredickson, Hayley Fredrickson and Sydney Fredrickson, maternal grandparents, Micky (Jim) Bailey, paternal grandparent, Angela Conklin, paternal grandparents, Dave (Robyn) Gerdes, paternal grandparents, Michael (Sharon) Counterman, nephew, Kason Frable, niece Ryleigh Frable and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, John Thomas Jr., great-grandparents, many aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Pastor Nick Hughes officiating.
