Obituary for Dale Vroegh
Dale Eugene Vroegh, age 64, of Eddyville, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Serenity House in Oskaloosa. He was born on March 20, 1958 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Bert and Joan (Netz) Vroegh.
Dale married Vicki Long and they were blessed with two children, Amanda and Zachary. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding bulls at local rodeos with friends. He was a die hard Dale Earnhardt fan, and he enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye football games with friends. Dale’s grandkids were the highlight of his world.
Dale most recently was employed at Tri-County Inc in Eddyville, IA. Prior to that he worked as a Farmhand and Truck driver for Rozenboom Farms, Allied Gas and Chemical, and Steel Trucking.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Vroegh; daughter, Amanda (Ryan) Brink, son, Zachary (Jennifer) Vroegh; five grandchildren, Brennan, Wade, Bennett Vroegh, Clara and Hannah Brink; brothers, Fred (Millie) Vroegh, Bruce (Kellie) Vroegh; sister, Nancine Vroegh, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Joan Vroegh.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, opening to the public at 2:00 p.m., and Dale’s family present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday evening at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel.
