Obituary for Steven Allison Sr.
Steven Eugene Allison Sr., passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home. He was the son of Kenneth and Shirley Jean (Ferns) Allison was born January 6, 1952. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School, class of 1970. Growing up he enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.
Steven enjoyed socializing and having drinks with friends and family.
He built pole barns for twenty-seven years and later he worked for Tri-County, retiring in 2013.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Stephanie) Allison Jr. of New Sharon, Melissa Allison (Robert) Boley of Oskaloosa, Zackery Gordon of Oskaloosa; brother, Kennie Allison of Oskaloosa; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Shirley Allison; sister, Debra and brother-in-law, Darwin.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel from 4-7 p.m., with Steven’s family present.
